Zoria Age of Shattering Shared Monthly Changelog #2

Developer Tiny Trinket Games shared the monthly report on the upcoming squad-based tactical RPG Zoria: Age of Shattering, updating the community on the progress made with the development of the title.

Among other things, the team tackled the remodeling and expanding of locations. As such, Rithvale had a complete makeover, making it a more lively area worth revisiting at different stages of the game. Another location that got revisited is the Shrieking Pass, previously shown in the demo 2 years ago. Now it is not only an area where the story takes place but also a part of the story on its own.

Another interesting topic discussed in the blog post are the attacks of opportunity. Certain characters will be able to strike an enemy unit in combat as it moves next to them. It can be a very satisfying move to strike down an enemy that attempts to run away from you.

Character creator was a stretch goal on Kickstarter that the game didn’t reach but the devs have decided to add it anyway.

“We believe that creating your own character in an RPG adds a lot of value to a roleplaying aspect of the game. Whether you like to adjust a gender or look to your own for a better immersion, play a hero of your dreams or make it an honor to play as a female character whenever possible – we’ve got you.”
