Warframe, the huge onliness sfi-fi adventure from Digital Extremes is set to scrap its Prime Vault program, but this change is set to bring even more Primes to players with the Prime Resurgence.
Prime Resurgence is coming, and the Prime Vault is no more. Digital Extremes has confirmed that it is out to call time on a mainstay of its Prime program in an effort to add greater access to these important, and hugely popular, items. Th ne Prime Resurgence system drops today, and players can expect to see a new cadence of availability for Prime Warframes, Weapons, and Gear. Instead of a cycle every quarter, this arrangement will change things up every month. That means two Prime Warframes and a subset of Prime Gear available to earn in-game or instantly unlock with Aya and Regal Aya every month. Since this drops today, it all begins with Wukong Prime and Equinox Prime.
Aya and Regal Aya currencies are pivotal to the changes, providing players with a way to purchase the items and relics they want. Rather than dealing with any more randomization in game, the new changes allow adventurers to complete select Warframe missions to earn Aya and exchange it for the Void Relics they want. This should strip away much of the RNG in building the Warframe players want and give a much greater sense of direct progression.
That’s not the only area that is suddenly more direct. Players now have greater access to visit Varzia Dax in Maroo’s Bazaar for Prime Resurgence items. All they need do is open the ‘Visit Varzia’ command available in the Void Relic Segment interface and begin, recovering. Prime Warframes and Gear. While this all means that players will potentially have a more compressed time period to get in and get the relevant pieces they need, there will still be the option to buy access, much as before. If you’ve got plenty of free time or plenty of free cash, this sounds like it could be a great arrangement all round for Tenno.
