Warframe Will Get A Prequel To The Durviri Paradox

Digital Extremes just announced that Warframe’s incoming update, The Durviri Paradox, is set to get a prequel, titles Lua’s Prey.

Due to land this winter and ahead of the much anticipated Durviri Paradox update, Lua’s Prey was announced by Digital Extreme’s over the weekend. The pre cursor to the 2023 update will unlock a new Warframe, story-driven content, and plenty of rewards.

The perfect way to prepare for yet another huge moment in the Warframe universe, Lua’s Prey will direct Tenno’s across all platforms to a barren area of Lua. Something sinister is preparing on this desolate portion of Earth’s Moon and it will be up to players to venture into inhospitable territory. Players will gain access to Warframe’s first wolf-inspired Warframe, Voruna. First revealed during TennoCon 2022, this hunter was once guardian of one of Lua’s holiest of temples. Now, it unleashes powerful retribution on your behalf. As long-established followers of the franchise might expect, the new Warframe will be available to instantly unlock or earn in-game. When deployed, you’ll be able to take this, or any other Warframe, into 2 new survival missions on Lua. New cosmetics including Void Shell and Deluxe skins will also unlock, for those that are more interested in flair than fighting.

The upcoming prequel wasn’t the only thing announced over the weekend break. During Devstream 165, the development team behind this hit online sci-fi adventure announced Echoes of Veilbreaker arrives on 2 November. Players on PC and Console might notice reworks to boss enemies and changes to Kahl’s Break missions. A bunch of tweaks and quality of life changes will arrives while new rewards, and tons of cosmetics changes. Dojo creators will particularly enjoy the Ostron Cove, with more than 200 Ostron themed decorations on offer. IN addition to these decorations, new skins will drop too. New Archon Shard Ephemeras, Renok Hammer, and Avex Sniper Skins will accompany a new Gerousic Helmet for the Styanax Warframe. Mostly, Echoes of Veilbreaker will make life better for everyone ahead of the epic storylines coming in 2023.

This is barely the headlines, and to find out every change coming to Warframe, head over to the official website to recap the announcements from Devstream 165.
