Daybreak Games has announced that DC Universe Online has officially landed on Nintendo Switch. The F2P MMO super-hero game allows players to test their wings in the first and only MMO set in the “iconic DC Universe” on Switch.
Players will be able to experience the huge game world while taking the game on the road. There are over 30 episodes to play through as well as open world locations in Gotham City and Metropolis as well as under the sea in Atlantis.
The coolest part is that players can create their own custom Super Hero or Super-Villain by using one of the industry’s most robust character creation tools. There is a “wide selection of superpowers, movement modes, weapons and over 2,000 styles” to choose from. There’s little a player won’t find in order to make the most awesome character ever.
“The DCUO team focused on many quality-of-life improvements over the past year to ensure players have the best MMO experience on Nintendo Switch. These include a revamped tutorial, access to the latest event content within a few hours of starting the game, new augment and artifact systems, and updated character models. DCUO will launch on Nintendo Switch with a brand-new server, separate from all other communities.”
