Epic Games has announced a “mashup no one saw coming” in the form of a special hardcover collected edition called Batman / Fortnite Zero Point. Fans will be able to get hold of the book starting Tuesday, September 7th and will be able to collect some pretty sweet bonus perks for their in-game characters. The story has been penned by Christos Gage and is illustrated by Reilly Brown with assistance from Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games Donal Mustard.
The book starts with a mysterious crack appearing in the Gotham City sky, threatening reality itself. Batman—along with some other familiar DC faces—is pulled into it, the Dark Knight waking up in the unfamiliar world with no memory and no choice other than to fight his way out.
Players will be treated to a bevy of items that were included with all of the single issue releases including:
- Armored Batman Zero Point Outfit
- Rebirth Harley Quinn Outfit
- Batman Zero Wing Glider
- Catwoman’s Grappling Claw Pickaxe
- Deathstroke Destroyer Glider
- Harley Quinn’s Revenge Back Bling
- Batarang Axe Pickaxe
On Saturday, September 18th, the first issue in the series will be re-released in a special reprint edition and it’s free, which is best of all.
