Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy Is Turning To PlayStation In November

Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy sis set to save the town of Neu Selea again, but this time PlayStation owners can lend a hand in the fight.

Akupara Games and developer Curious Fate have announced that the vibrant turn based RPG adventure Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy is coming to PlayStation on 17 November. Anybody up for adventure will be able to join their PC counterparts in standing firm in the town of Neu Selea.

Protecting a quaint homestead from a tyrannical overlord and assorted minions isn’t always easy, but it is scenic. This modern spin on classic tactics-style games includes a diverse range of characters, huge boss monsters, and a diverse array of abilities. All of this is set against a beautiful top down view of a dark and mysterious world embroiled in war. However, hero Huxley and his dog Max do not need to worry about the wider conflict. Instead they need to build a team of warriors to defend their home from an aggressive invader. While players cut their way through dozens of narrative story maps and decide how to proceed, a diverse range of challenges will unfold. Alongside traditional turn based encounters, Daughters of Mercy shakes up expectations with large-scale War levels that include dozens of units on the battlefield simultaneously. A deeply customizable class based system begins with 21 base classes and seems to just keep unfolding from there, while upgrades and loot will allow for even further character progression in this fight for freedom.

Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy might not initially look like anything ground breaking but just like Darkside Detective and Grime, this seemingly traditional quest is a beautifully animated and thoughtful adventure that is likely to have fans of the genre hooked for hours at a time. You can find out more about the PlayStation release on the Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy PlayStation Store page now.
