1930s Cartoon FPS Mouse Drops A Ludicrous New Gameplay Trailer

Forget Boober Shooters! Upcoming FPS Mouse is a different type of old school shooter.

PlaySide Publishing and Fumi Games just dropped a teaser trailer for the latest innovation in retro shooter that we didn’t see coming. Mouse is an upcoming FPS that takes inspiration from the era of 1930s animation with a ton of playful ideas., that are showcased in the trailer.

Surfacing as part of the Triple-i Initiative Showcase, the gameplay teaser for this unexpected adventure dives into some of the gameplay mechanics and returns to the noir themed world that await. Players taking up the case will get behind the gun of a cheese loving detective that is out to take on the mob violence or a gritty city and a host of outrageous characters from the criminal underbelly. The homage to rubber hose animation mans game mechanics can get just as silly. While the grappling hook and helicopter might look amusing, the power up Spinach is definitely of its time. You had best watch the trailer to see how spinach enhances a melee approach to taking on criminal ne’er-do-wells.

Like any good FPS, this title is full of fast paced action, an arsenal of appropriate weaponry, and finger guns. Bang bang! If you loved the personality of Cuphead then this is probably a great entry into the FPS genre.
