During Tokyo Games Show 2021, publisher Gamera Game shared the announcement trailer for the upcoming third-person action game Arise of Awakener, coming to PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam in 2023.
The trailer features early development gameplay, showing the protagonist fighting off a variety of monsters such as dragons and undead using swords, daggers, magic and other types of weapons. Other shown activities include climbing, herb gathering, mining, horse riding, flying on a dragon, directing a flying ship and more.
Many players have pointed out the game’s similarity to Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma.
