Future Features

Balan Wonderland is a 3D platformer that seems to draw at least a little inspiration from Sega Saturn classic Nights into Dreams. It follows two protagonists Leo Craig and Emma Cole, as they follow the maestro into Balan Wonderland. This world full of imagination and music appears when needed by individuals at a turning point in their lives and challenges them to overcome a range of obstacles over 12 dream-like stages. The latest trailer also confirms that we will don over 80 different costumes, allowing players to utilize a range of different moves and skill to complete their task, similar to Mario Odyssey. For example, the Halloween themed Pumpkin Puncher shoots out giant fists to destroy blocks in your way, while we can confirm that the Soaring Sheep outfit does not send people to sleep.

Published by Square Enix and originally announced back in July 2020, Balan Wonderland is also due to jump onto PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Pc via Steam. Even if you’re still in the queue to pick up a next-gen console or ready to test out the new NVIDIA 3000 series, there’s still lots of time to save up for this charming platformer.
