Bellwright Trailer Takes A Lok Inside Donkey Crew’s Town Builder.

Donkey Crew has dropped a new Bellwright trailer, giving players a look around the upcoming town building survival RPG.

Take your shoes off at the door and don’t forget your hammer. Players looking to test their survival skills against Donkey Crew’s newest adventure can take a look at what’s in store today. The team behind post apocalyptic desert survival sim Last Oasis just unveiled a new look at Bellwright.

The trailer takes us into a medieval world fraught with danger. Across less than a minute, game systems, crafting, gathering, combat, and the wider world are all explored. Players picking up Bellwright will need to survive the elements before anything else, and farming the trees for wood is a viable strategy to get a cabin built. Although you’ll get a glimpse of it above, a recent blog post goes into crafting in detail. You’ll need to master this art to build the armor and equipment required for hunting and combat. If you choose to rebel against the tyranny that falls over an otherwise picturesque landscape, as the trailer suggests, then watch all the way through to see quite how brutal life can be.

What is Bellwright?

Bellwright is about more than simply chopping wood and sharpening swords. The ambitious RPG is out to redefine the survival genre. Set in a land where you need to fend for yourself, you’ll establish a settlement, build and expand its influence, all in order to survive. Gather, hunt, build and crafting are at the core of this survival sim, but conquest is also key.

Unlike Medieval Dynasty, gathering your followers doesn’t simply mean trade. Craft the right gear then execute invasions to grow your armies and liberate regions from the Crown. Then, begin to manage your growing empire, if it survives the Queen’s wrath.

You can check out more about this town building survival RPG before it arrives on PC, via Steam. Head over to the official website to plan your settlement now.
