Control DLC Opens Up Door To The Foundation In March

Publisher 505 Games has unveiled a trailer for the brand new Control DLC  and it is time for players to enter The Foundation on 26 March.

After its initial launch back in 2019, this supernatural action-adventure, that comes out of the same developer that brought us Alan Wake, is set to get its first story update since it burst onto Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC via the Epic Store. The new DLC is due to launch on Playstation 4 and PC shortly and will uncover a little more of this mysterious world.

Walk The Line

Detailed in a blog on the publisher’s website, the Foundation Expansion trailer gives players a glimpse of the Astral Plane. As things open, the mysterious reality is ready to collide with ours, utterly consuming the oldest house. Of course, it is up to the director of the Federal Bureau of Control, Jesse Faden, to walk the caverns of the Foundation and prevent this from happening. As players take Jesse further into the caverns they will encounter another world of strange and unusual attractions that may even lead to some answers about the missing head of FBC operations, Helen marshall.

Player’s who jumped into Control when it first launched will have an idea of what to expect. If not check out our previous coverage and previews of this rich and the deeply intriguing world all centered around an ancient house, where realities bend and physics are seemingly just a guideline. Xbox One players will not have to wait too long either. The Control DLC will arrive on Xbox One 25 June. We haven’t seen the full price of the DLC yet but anybody with the season pass will get the DLC for free. Everybody who owns Control will also get a free update which includes fixes, quality of life enhancements, a Shield Rush upgrade and an ability to reassign Ability Points!
