Phoenix Labs has announced that players have a new opportunity to resume progress with The Silver Sword in Dauntless. The legendary weapon made its debut during Frostfall 2022 in December but once the event ended, so did the ability to progress it further. Fortunately, developers have it covered. From now through March 30th, players can resume progress from where they left off at the end of Frostfall.
In addition to The Silver Sword event, players also have a lot to achieve in Gauntlet Season 3. Season 3 comes with a host of new challenges and rewards as well as a pair of new modifiers:
- Push and Pull: Have 5% lifesteal on attacks, but take continuous slow damage over time.
- Exhaustion: At full health, deal 50% increased damage. While missing any health, deal 50% decreased damage.
Gauntlet Season 3 features
- Complete five successive Behemoth battles and beat the timer to unlock the next level
- Gauntlet levels are unique and the “challenge never ends”
- Players keep going until they are defeated
- Ladder boards track player progress
- earn Crests by completing milestones solo or with a guild
- exchange Crests for weapon trackers, themed cells, and more

- each perk can be used only 1x per hunt
New Themed Cells
- Earth: Hitting a Behemoth while your shields are over 200 will detonate all of your shields, dealing damage equal to a percentage of the shields spent. At rank 6, gain 100 shields after detonation.
- Water: After dodging through an attack, you will be immune to stagger, and take less damage from the next attack within 45 seconds.
- Fire: Gain Attack Speed. Gain Movement Speed. When hitting a Behemoth with a weapon attack, lose health equal to a percentage of your max health.
