Developer Blizzard Entertainment has taken to the official site of mobile RPG Diablo Immortal to introduce players to the third major title update Age of Falling Towers. This content expansion introduces the new Accursed Towers Clan-based game mode, the Dread Reaver dungeon, The Astral Bloom Elite Quest, and a plethora of updates to existing features.
Accursed Towers is a new game mode that features both PvP and PvE gameplay. Clans will compete to claim ownership of towers, thereby providing powerful bonuses to all Clan members and the opportunity to acquire new Cursed Items. Players must be in a Clan to participate in Accursed Towers.
Cursed Items are a new type of Legendaries that have a Cursed Property – all Legendary items that drop anywhere in Sanctuary have a chance of being a Cursed Item in addition to those pieces of gear that are acquired from PvP matches and dropped by enemies while collecting Cursed Shards.
Dread Reaver is a new dungeon experience that is unlocked after reaching Hell V difficulty and completing the quest Trail of Terror. Share the darkest waters of Sanctuary with the Dread Reaver, a legendary vessel that devours anything in its wake. Keep your footing on its decks as you fight drowned aberrations, sea monsters, and the ship’s commander, an exile from an ancient and forgotten land.
Elite Quest: The Astral Bloom will task players to aid a mysterious mage seeking to undo the wreckage of his past. Players must have already completed the Main Quest of Stormpoint and have an Adventure Journal in their possession to begin the Astral Bloom Elite Quest.
In addition to the new content mentioned above, Diablo Immortal also added:
- 3 New Legendary Gems;
- New Set Items: Banquet of Eyes;
- Ashes of Antiquity Limited-Time Event (March 30 – April 20);
- Recall a Friend Limited-Time Event (March 30 – April 27);
- Activity Rewards Increase;
- Battleground and Rite of Exile Balance;
- Hero’s Journey Chapters 5 and 6;
- And more!
