Jetpacks, miniguns, and frantic combat are all coming to PC as Exocorps arrives in Early Access on 17 September.
Developed by indie team Gingerbread, Exocorps is a gravity-defying multiplayer shooter that straps on a jetpack, loads up a wild array of high tech weaponry, and thrusts players into a sci-fi scenario where they need to gun for glory. Taking the simple fun of shooting something on-screen and employing the power of a full-flight jetpack, players who jump into Exocorps on 17 September will get set to go airborne across vast alien landscapes and undertake a range of stealth-based missions.
Shooting Space
Drawing gameplay inspiration from classic game titles such as Counter-Strike and Tribes, with a dash of the epic aerial duels featured in animes such as Macross, ExoCorps is a multiplayer online FPS set in the far reaches of space that looks as much like a future dog fight as a chaotic game of Unreal Tournament. This tactical shooter equips players in an Exocorp, a tactical combat platform under development by an international initiative. This powerful suit allows individuals to head out into the solar system, equipped with a formidable six in one multirifle, capable of delivering a range of lethal ordnance including auto-cannon fire, multi rockets, plasma bolts, and minigun onslaught. Also, it’s probably worth packing your rail gun for sniping too .
The moment we saw the Exocorp trailer we were sold. This upcoming shooter looks every bit the sci-fi aesthetic we can’t turn down with the chaos of old school fast-paced FPS that we’re probably too slow for now. With support for support Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag mode across 5 maps, there should be plenty to do when Exocorps hits Early Access on Steam. Head over to the official Exocorps Steam Store page to check out more about this title now.
