Developer Hoyoverse is back with more information about Tighnari, one of the new characters awaiting Travelers in Sumeru once Genshin Impact 3.0 launches. Following his introduction in the “When All Is Said” character teaser, Tighnari received a demo focused on his abilities as a Dendro Archer and his knowledge as a Forest Watcher.
Titled ‘Plant Patrol’, the demo has Tighnari go into detail explaining the properties of the Sweetwater Mushroom. As a Forest Watcher, he knows the flora and fauna of Sumeru and can teach others, like Collei. According to the official classification, fungi are not plants. However, since mushrooms are often picked and eaten freely by Vanara, they have become a mandatory part of the Forest Ranger training curriculum. Though, when it comes to research on new species of fungi, it is better to leave it to the experienced Forest Watcher.
Check out the character demo for Collei, another upcoming Dendro Archer, to learn more about Forest Rangers. She will be a playable character in Genshin Impact version 3.0. However, she is not exactly a new face: she was one of the main characters of a manga that outlined the activity of the Fatui in Mondstadt.
