HoYoverse has announced that eager Stellaron hunters and gacha fans can now pre-load Honkai Star Rail version 2.0. If you’ve been busy preparing to check in at The Reverie Hotel and sample the delights Honkai Star Rail 2.0, then there are just a few simple steps to download the marvels of Penacony right now. While you won’t be able to visit this land of dreams quite yet, grabbing the incoming update ahead of time means that you’ll be able to leap straight in on 6th February 2024.
Players across iOS, Android, and PC can get ahead of the game by logging in right now and taking the following steps to download the latest patch at their leisure, and preferably on Wi-Fi. PC clients are likely to need as much as 17 GB to download and 36GB to unzip the assets, while mobile versions need 12.5 GB for early installation of version 2.0.
Android and iOS
- Launch the current version of Honkai Star Rail.
- Check the bottom right corner of the screen for a “Resource Pre-Download” button
- Tap to begin pre-download.
- Go watch the latest Black Swan Trailer while you wait on the download.
PC
- Launch the game client.
- Look for a “Resource Pre-Download” button in the bottom-right corner of the login screen.
- Tap to begin pre-download.
- PC players can head into play while download continues.
