Fat Dog Games has announced that Indygo will launch on Steam later today. The game is a “narrative point and click experience” with a very serious theme.
What is Indygo?
You will play as Thomas Perry, a renowned painter who is falling into deep depression. He isolates himself and only communicates with his girlfriend via letter. As you play through the game, you will experience the symptoms of depression through his eyes as well as make choices that affect the ending. The game features multiple endings that are influenced by the story’s evolution.
The goal of the game is to “destigmatize” depression and it has been praised by Polish officials for its sensitive portrayal of a difficult subject.
The art of the game is handmade by students from a fine arts academy as well as members of Pigmentum Games. In addition, the soundtrack features all original pieces that compliment Thomas’s mood.
You can check out the official Steam page to learn more or grab a copy straight away for $6.
