Amazon has launched Season 5 of its MMORPG, adding in lots of loot and an end to the New World Story Quest.

Meet your end in New World today, with the launch of the new Season of the Guardian Update. Titled Season of the guardian, the latest chapter in this big budget MMO will invite players to find out how the central story quest ends, try out seasonal events, and try out some new weapons too.

First announced in Febraury 2023, the latest updates to Aeternum’s central storyline are more than just an outright end. Anybody rerolling or joining the action for the first time will benefit from improvements across the board. The starting area has been tweaked some more, with fresh narratives, more quest variety, and a few new surprises. This comes on top of the starter town changes we’ve already seen since launch.

Seasonal Events

Once you’ve had an opportunity to experience adventure anew, there are plenty of new limited time events coming to this magical island. From 17-30 April the Springtide Bloom is an opportunity to assist the enigmatic Bloom Herald unravel the mysteries of the ethereal Wispybloom and collect Springtide’s fertile bounty. While it’s not all easy pickings, this is a lot less problematic than the Rabbit’s Revenge. Hopping back into game between 15-28 May, the bunny-based event finds a plague of rabbits back and even more dangerous than ever. Do not pet the rabbit. Bash it and grab the loot quickly.

Rise Of the Angry Earth Add Ons

Anybody with a copy of the recent rise of the Angry Earth expansion will be able to take on a ton of new content today. A new Season Trial. The Winter Rune Forge welcomes up to 10 maximum level players to take on an icy mix of dangerous monsters, puzzles, and the promise of exclusive rewards.

New Artefacts are also on the way, You’ll be able to find and equip eight new Artifacts to redefine your playstyle. There’s also the option to track and upgrade up to 10 Artifacts at any one time. This includes a new hatchet, Spear, Axe, and other armor that  will enhance your effectiveness in stopping deadly bunnies. These powerful Artifacts won’t just help modify your playstyle; they should help progress through the Season Pass too.

Alongside this, the release day adds native controller support to an entirely overhauled combat and animation system, meaning everybody gets a better experience when they mount up in Outpost Rush or just go collecting herbs for the new cooking changes.
