Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Adds Garfield

In a move that left no fighter fans asks “I wonder who that’s for?”, Nickelodeon has confirmed that the newest addition to its All-Star Brawl is Garfield.

After at least some fan speculation, Garfield the Cat was announced as the latest addition to the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl yesterday and we out down the impending pitchforks. After launching with 20 fighters on the billet, this lasagne loving feline is jsut the newest fighter to drop into Nickelodeon’s Smash Bros. styled platform fighter starring some of the most iconic offbeat cartoon characters western children’s TV has to offer.

The arrival of a sardonic orange cat gives owners of Nick All-Star Brawl adds a third feline to the roster, after Stimpy and at least half of CatDog. This time, however, it’s likely we will get a set of combat capabilities that are all about food. While we were not furnished with a full move set, we can see at least a few pieces from the included teaser trailer. Garfield looks to mix in some iconic food fighting, featuring lasagne, of course, pie flinging, as well as flat out ignoring poor Sponge Bob Squarepants, and belching all over April O’Neil. The flailing fighter with a passion for all things Italian is set to cook up a storm across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S\X, Xbox One, and PC on 9 December. Switch owners will have to wait for Garfield to get up sometime later in December. Find out more about the new fighter and the rest of the roster on the official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl website.
