Following the first look at Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series, Netflix also shared the official teaser trailer for the live-action adaptation of One Piece. Are you ready to set out on this adventure alongside Monkey D. Luffy, following the manga written by Eiichiro Oda?
“ONE PIECE is a legendary high-seas quest unlike any other. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom ever since he can remember. He sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, ONE PIECE, to become King of the Pirates!”
The official teaser trailer is almost 2 minutes long and offers the glimpse at the main cast of the show as well as their interactions as they learn to be the found family to one another:
- Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of the show and a young man that dreams to find the mythical “One Piece” and become the King of the Pirates;
- Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, a master swordsman that follows the Santoryu style and an accomplished bounty hunter;
- Emily Rudd as Nami, an enigmatic thief that is looking for a way to the Grand Line;
- Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, boisterous marksman;
- Taz Skylar as Sanji, charming master chef.
