One Punch Man World, yet another video game adaptation of an incredible anime, is opening pre-registration.
Perfect World, the name behind the likes of Neverwinter Nights and Star Trek Online, is aiming for a knockout blow with its upcoming PC and mobile incarnation of hit anime One Punch Man. The new cross platform title invites players to try out a brand new 3D world full of unassuming heroes and powerful villains. Unfolding the traditionally 2D turn based mobile experience into a fully fledged world with a hardcore action environment, this game offers up a taster of the everyday hero’s life for PC players.
While mobiles will have to placate themselves with the creations of other tech Otakus, desktop, laptop, and cloud PC purchasers will be able to put their names down to get into the upcoming closed beta. Due to go live a little later this year, the closed beta will require heroes live up to the public’s expectations. A slew of monsters, villains, and maybe kittens stuck in tress will populate the cityscapes you might already be familiar with. Hardcore action battles will test skill and power as players team up to take down ever more powerful threat.
Like any great anime adaptation, players picking up the mobile or PC version later in the year will be able to relive the story of Saitama, an everyman who becomes the most powerful hero in the world. If you were already sold on One Punch Man Wordl at the headline, then head over to the official website to take a look at what’s coming and put your name down for PC pre-registrations.
