Palworld Launch Gives Your Pocket Monsters Guns Today

The Palworld launch is live today on PC, Xbox, and Game Pass.

Grab a gatling gun and put away your memories of those cute little yellow pocket friends. Palworld is an explosive twist on the traditional pocket monster idea and it’s available now. Landing on PC, Xbox, and Game pass as an Early Access title, this hotly anticipated adventure first featured on our radar back in 2022. It takes a dash of Island Adventure, a slice of survival sims sim, a monster trainer, and an open world, blends them all together and asks you to try and conquer all comers.

More succinctly described as a multiplayer open world creature collection title, developer Pocketpair unfurls a gigantic land today. This gorgeous 3D environment is filled with a variety of biomes. Meadows, deserts, snowy mountains, and volcanic mountains are all open to explore at your leisure. Between the trees and snowstorms, eponymous Pals roam the world. Each Pal comes in different size shape, and color. AS individual as their looks, these future friends have their own specialized skills. So far, so Pokemon.

Things take something of an explosive left turn when other island inhabitants start to block your path. Along the way you’ll need to overcome a range of challenges and antagonists. To do this there’s less I choose you, and more give the sheep a gun. Secure your new home by building the perfect base. Production of items, growing crops, cooking dishes, and generating power can be automated by various Pals specializing in this labor. You can even install more weapons around your base to prepare for oncoming sieges.

If you were not ready for the Palworld launch, why not check out the trailer above and then join us jumping in. Palworld is available now for £24.99/$26.99 or local equivalent on Steam or via Xbox Storefronts.
