Rare has released a boatload of information about Sea of Thieves Season 11 that brings massive quality-of-life changes to the game, including fast travel and on-demand content. Most notably, the Quest Table has been overhauled to allow players to directly select the content they wish to explore and to fast travel to that location for expedited fun.
Developers have released a new trailer for Season 11 that showcases much of what pirate captains and crew can expect when logging in for the first time.
Season 11 features
- On-Demand Content: Players can select Voyages directly from their Quest Tables rather than having to head to a Trading Company. Once selected, ships dive under the waves and bob up at the location needed to complete the adventure. Players can select what kind of Voyage they want, how long they want it to last, and which Company to sail for. As players progress through Voyages, Tall Tales, and themed Raid Voyages, more content will unlock. Voyages can be started at sea and players can move from one to the next using fast travel.
- Trading Companies are offering new reputation rewards long past the previous level cap. Players can unlock new rewards along the way. Reach Level 100 with a Company and earn the “Distinction Ring” for all captains and crew.
- Voyage rewards have been adjusted for better balance.
- New Tutorial Voyages are in place to help new pirates learn the ins and outs of the seas.
- New Seasonal Rewards have been added
- The Pirate Emporium has been updated.
- The Season 11 Plunder Pass is available with all-new rewards.
- Twitch Drops are live for even more goodies.
