Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment have sent out a new trailer that pulls back the curtain on the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor story. Viewers will be treated to a look at the older and presumably wiser Cal Kestis, the protagonist in the original game. The team also showcases some of the familiar characters Cal will find along the way. These include Greez Dritus, Merrin, and Cere Junda, as well as a number of new faces.
Survivor follows Cal five years after the events of the first game. He’s on a quest to find peace out of reach of the Empire. Cere, Greez, Merrin, and Bode all stand by Cal’s side against the Empire and they work together to fight off ruthless enemies. Players taking on the role of Cal will travel to new planets and familiar locations from the Star Wars setting. In a cool move, players will head to Koboh, the head of the Bedlam Raiders.
Developed by a veteran team at Respawn, Survivor is being prepped for an April 27th release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Preorders are already open. Players can purchase the base edition for $69.99 or the Deluxe Edition for $89.99.

About Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?
