Strap Into An Exosuit And Head Into Leap Early Access Today

It’s Early Access day for exosuit fuelled team shooter Leap, and this massive new title has a target rich opportunity for gamers.

After launching early testing periods back in May, Leap springs headlong into Early Access today, opening the doors for players who like their team based shooters on a slightly grander scale than Overwatch can provide. Developed and published by Blue Isle, Leap is a far future sci-fi setting with a difference. Instead of a few good men, you’ll expect to take control of a robotic weapon and slice through as many as 30 opponents.

With battlefields of up to 60 of players and a huge range of potential weaponized configurations, Leap mixes power gliders, military grade hoverboards, and some explosive choices as players pick for a Pathfinder, Titan, Wraith, or Tech Ops suit and try to dispatch the enemy force. Each class archetype brings its own options to this future fight, where the  United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) and the rebel Exo-Terrans clash. If you manage to overcome the other side, then expect plenty of rewards too. Massive contract bonuses await those who achieve kills across four battlefields. Be sure to upgrade to the latest in equipment, armament, and vehicles to garner top dollar contracts and show the competition you mean big, deadly business.

With massive scale, dynamic movement, and the odd orbital strike, Leap might very well be worth a look if you want to start the weekend early and with some huge explosions. Players can pick up Leap Early Access today on Steam Early Access for $25.49 (15% discount), or mercenaries are invited to become a founder by purchasing the founders pack ($19.99) that will only be available during early access and includes custom skins, contract bonuses, keychains and more.
