Super Cane Magic ZERO Conjures a Release Date As The Vegetables Revolt

Super Cane Magic ZERO

If the thought of riotous root vegetables wasn’t enough to send you back to bed, how about a world without the internet too. Get prepared because that is where Super Cane Magic ZERO is going to take us when it launches on 30 May.

Coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation 4 Super Cane Magic ZERO is a fun looking co-op dungeon crawler that takes a wacky romp through its subterranean challenges. Developed by Studio Evil, with the help of the popular Italian YouTube channel Scottecs, Super Cane Magic ZERO is set in a world called WOTF. It is your job to save the planet from a magical dog that has taken down the internet, covered the mon in chocolate, and caused an army of disgruntled sprouts to rise up against us. Suffice to say this isn’t a serious dig at co-op competitors with character names like Dr. Buttdog, Flashio, Laser Grandpa, and more. Humour is clearly central to this adventure, as you can see in the trailer below.

While it might all seem quite casual, this game features plenty of content. You and up to three other companions can crawl through a series of handcrafted and procedurally-generated dungeons full of greenery to cut down. Eat your fallen enemies, and whatever else you want. Just remember that not everything is supposed to go in your mouth. Studio Evil’s new adventure promises consequences for some of these choices. When you are finished chowing down on the content, you will also be able to unlock abilities across seven strange upgrade trees as you save a bunch of magical wizards.

Super Cane Magic ZERO is out on 30 May across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux. Find out more about the game at the official Super Cane Magic ZERO website.
