The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics Trailer Knows Your Enemies

An ominous threat approaches as The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics gets set to introduce the major players of this new RPG in a brand new trailer.

Publisher En Masse Entertainment today unveiled a trailer to showcase the first of many friends and enemies that players will encounter as they attempt to save the world of Thra. The new trailer focuses on the recreation of some iconic characters from the new Netflix series and their game avatars. Players familiar with the Dark Crystl series will recognize the Chamberlain, the calculating Skeksis, Aughra, the wise and ancient embodiment of Thra, and Deet, an unassuming caretaker of animals who is key to the Gelflings’ hopes for rebellion.

For those that haven’t come back to Thra since their own childhood, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a multiplatform strategy RPG developed by BonusXP and in collaboration with Netflix. It submerges players into the recent Netflix series that took payers back to see the fall of Thra. Due out later in 2019, this title will expand Thra, allowing players to traverse a range of territories, each offering the ability to learn more about the Gelfling clans and their histories.

Combat is a certainty as players lead a Gelfling resistance against the tyrannical forces that threaten their homeland. With only using guile, planning, and cunning available the Gelfling can be customized for each encounter via their gear, upgradeable abilities, and a job system. Dynamic on-field events ensure that fights remain fresh and fluid, opening up opportunities that the bravest warrior can take advantage of, no matter their size. For fans of the original Dark Crystal or the Netflix series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics trailer ensures that this gaming adaptation is in good Gelf. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC/Mac.
