The Fate/Stay Night Cooking Game We Never Knew We Needed Is Coming

Nintendo Switch owners, there’s a new Fate/Stay Night Cooking game coming and it’s nothing like anything you’d imagine the serries would produce.

One part anime heroes of the past dragged into a bloody hellscape under the premise of a holy war and another part Food Wars, this new title from developer Fate-Moon is all about getting around the table for some scrumptious foody fare. It’s not that the Fate manga and anime series that many of you are used to hasn’t had its fair share of food on occasion but this is a definite departure for Emiya household.

Reportedly hitting the Nintendo eShop in Japan as Everyday Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family, this game is due to hit both the full size and Lite version of the Nintendo switch during spring 2020. It is roughly described as a light cooking adventure game and it probably won’t involve many battles to the death. Whether this is more like Cooking Mama or Overcooked, we will see when the game its shelves and hopefully makes it over to western shores so we can all have a taste of this adorable cooking title. While this culinary game is a little leftfield for a series that is all about mystical death duels and magic, it features Fate/Stay Night characters including Shiro, Saber, Sakura, and Rin and seems to take place in this popular timeline. That’s more than can be said for much of the fate franchise.

GIGGGUK MEME

Everyday Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family is a definite change of direction for the fate franchise. Normally, we’d expect to see these hero spirits and their masters battling for supremacy in a beat ‘em up or in the massively successful Fate/Grand Order game. As soon as we find out more about this new challenge for all you mages we will get the news up here. For those of you up to date on your Japanese then the official website holds all the latest updates and recipes.
