The Game Awards 2022 nominees have been announced. Video games are nominated in a number of categories but it becomes quickly apparent that a trio of titles is dominating the chatter this year. God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, and Elden Ring are nominated in more than a few categories, with over a hundred other games coming along that just may catch the world by surprise with an upset win.
This year’s celebration of all the good in gaming will take place on Thursday, December 8th at the Microsoft Theater. The event will be live-streamed around the world via over 40 network platforms. In addition, every year’s TGA offers viewers a peek into new and upcoming games via an extensive list of trailers shown during the presentation.
