Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division have announced that The Outer Worlds, the company’s most recent RPG, will be receiving the first of two planned DLC additions on September 9th. Called “Peril on Gorgon”, the new content includes a “new noir-tinged adventure” that sends players off to a distant asteroid to investigate the origins of Adrena-Time. While there, players will be able to collect new weapons, armor, perks, flaws, and players will continue to leverage the game’s narrative elements to solve problems and progress the game.
Peril on Gorgon will make its debut on September 9th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Those who wish to can purchase the DLC for $14.99. Xbox Game Pass users will also be able to take advantage of a 10% discount. Those who would like a one-price option forĀ both DLC can purchase the expansion pass for $24.99. The company isn’t ready to divulge all of the details yet but, hopefully, more will be coming soon. It’s also worth noting that players need to own the base game in order to play the DLC.
