Wayfinder Begins Early Access Tomorrow

Wayfinder will begin early Access tomorrow, and with Founder’s packs going on sale the same day.

While Wayfinder launched a precursor to Early Access with a bunch of betas and some impressive early previews, it’s about time to begin the road to launch. This online multiplayer adventure arrives in Steam and PlayStation Early Access on 15 August 2023, meaning you’ll be able to jump in and battel the Gloom tomorrow. However, to get in and swing your sword in this new MMO, you will need to pick up a Founder’s Pack.

While we’ve covered the Founder’s Pack launch, here’s a reminder of what’s in the packs.

These bundles are available across Steam and PlayStation stores tomorrow. The cost of getting on board will vary from £13.99-£98.99 or local equivalent. Alongside cosmetics, pets, housing pieces, titles, and free premium currency, the packs will throw in Season Passes, extra characters, and various versions of the Reward Tower. The Reward Tower provides a persistent reward track, that seems to be exclusive to Founder’s packs. So, if you pick it up and play later, they will be waiting for you. This means extra, weapon skins, trinkets, sprays, charms, housing decorations, pets and more. This is hardly scratching the surface for the most illustrious choice, but you get the idea.

With Early Access, players will get a chance to kickstart their adventure and retain progression on launch day. You’ll need it if you’re going to overcome the Gloom. The only heroes brave enough to fight it are already dead, so why no bring them back. Players picking up Wayfinder will push these undead adventurers through a series of open world activities and instanced adventures to overcome the Gloom and take back a vibrant world. We were seriously impressed by the title when we got hands on, and now it’s up to you.
