Palworld Arena Combat Is Coming in 2024

Pocketpair games dropped a new teaser trailer at the Triple-I Interactive Showcase confirming Palworld arena combat.

I choose you. Palworld is adding arena combat in 2024. The open world pet survival sim cemented its position as a totally not Pokemon inspired adventure by confirming that players busy building bases and subduing the wildlife will soon be able to pit their beloved monsters against each other in battle. The team behind the viral adventure dropped a teaser for the upcoming Arena launch last night, and it’s exactly what you imagine.

Featuring definitive information outside of its 2024 release window, this new preview peers into a Player vs Player brawl. The action appears to fit into last person standing scenario. All the action unfolds in a circular arena with little in the way of interactive objects, but there is at least a little more. Alongside each fo the gun totting player avatars, six pals enter the fray. With a pick of three for either side, it’s unknown how drafting might work, but this is at least going to give players an opportunity to go head-to-head without interference.

The latest trailer is just the latest update to Palworld, a survival sim that went more than a bit viral on its January launch. The mix of survival systems, open world dynamics, base building and wildlife with guns captured imagination and garnered plenty of attention. Since it went live, the team behind it has introduced numerous qualitiy of life patches, bug fixes, Raid Boss updates, and more. Check out the teaser above and keep an eye on the official Palworld website for more on what’s coming.
