Animated FPS Gunfire Reborn Is Out On Xbox

Pew Pew Pew! Gunfire Reborn, the brightest bloody FPS we’ve seen, is out on across Xbox and PC Game Pass.

Grab a gun and get shooting as the cell shaded chaos of Gunfire Reborn arrives on Game Pass Xbox One, Xbox Series platforms, and Game Pass. Available now and following on from a PC, PlayStation, Switch, and mobile release lineup, this blistering mix of roguelike game mechanics and shooter action is ready for some new players.

Anybody who missed the Steam Early Access and full attack on PC will likely want to check out this adorable looking medley of ideas. Despite the animated aesthetic and something of a Paladins vibe from the in game action, there’s plenty of challenge here. Players picking from a range of heroes can jump into a level based action where each encounter is different. Whether you’re piloting a cute bear, an adorable eagle, or one of the many other choices, you’ll be placed in a randomized level with new enemies, different loot, and encounters to engage with.

New Platform But Plenty of Ways To Play

Plenty of explosive abilities are on show too. Over 100 different items and weapons litter this experience, giving heroes plenty of ways to overcome enemies in this adventure alone or playing as part of a co-op engagement. So far, this might sound pretty standard fare for a procedural themed FPS, but the style, panache, and gameplay made us sit up and take notice when Gunfire Reborn first blew onto digital storefront. If you think you can overcome evil piloting a cartoon teddy bear, while shooting elemental arrows and wielding some kind of absurd hand dragon then this animated oddity is waiting. Gunfire Reborn is available now for $19.99 or local equivalent. Game pas Subscribers can grab it for free as part of the standard subscription. PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch owners can check out the official website to grab some gunfire too.
