BioWare has capped off this year’s N7 day with an intriguing new piece of footage for Mass Effect 5
Get your spy glasses out and prepare the lore books because there’s a new clue filled teaser for Mass Effect 5. November 7 normally provides a chance for fans of much loved sci-fi RPG Mass Effect to celebrate old encounters or look forward to new expeditions into space. This time, the team behind this massive franchise delivered a second teaser for the hotly anticipated 5 tale of the unexpected.
Released on social feeds, the trailer might look pretty benign, but there’s plenty of room for speculation. The seemingly uninteresting picture of a relay drops plenty of hints at what might be on the way. Most obvious is the text at the bottom of the video, declaring:
“Vaccum-dock Relay Construction Record / Monitoring Station Operated by Green Dagger Ltd. Property of Deepspace Dhow SAV / Ship Captain: Sub-Navarck Soa’Rhal Zhilian-Jones”
Whether that’s a Human or Quarrian name, you’ll have to decide.
There are likely plenty of other clues and ships littered in the background. Thankfully, BioWare has also added a high definition download, so you can project today’s detail up on a big screen and get a closer look.
Happy #N7Day from across the stars! 💫 We found this interesting footage you may want to 🔍 a bit more closely.

Mass Effect 5 is not expected to launch until well after 2023, when the game is due to go into full production. As yet, all we have are a bunch of teasers from previous Mas Effect updates, and a character trailer.
