A Nintendo Indie World Showcase Is Coming on 17 April

Nintendo has just confirmed that a new direct to consumer Indie World showcase stream is coming to screens today.

Prepare for 20 minutes of the best indies coming to Nintendo platforms, later today. Nintendo has announced that players who prefer innovative, weird, and small screen adventures can tune into the latest Indie World stream later today. The news dropped over on Nintendo sites and official social media channels, with confirmation that things will go live at around 3PM UK Time / 9AM PT or local equivalent.

What to Expect

Anybody tuning into the stream at YouTube can expect a swift 20-minute introduction to everything indie coming to the Nintendo Switch soon. The lineup remains a closely guarded secret, but it’s a reasonable expectation that we will at see a release date for the highly anticipated Silksong. The upcoming sequel to hit platformer Hollow Knight is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning action-adventure game Hollow Knight. Playing as Hornet, the princess-protector of Hallownest. Players must make their way through the strange world of Pharloom. With a gorgeous trailer and plenty of incredible looking action, this is the one to watch later today.

The Indie World Showcase has previously put the likes of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Oxenfree II, and Cult of the Lamb centre stage, so keep an eye out for everything coming to Nintendo’s handheld by watching over on the official YouTube channel.
