Boundary, the space faring team shooter is opening up for a new test on 6 February 2023.
Players preparing their platforms to leap off into the vast expanse of Steam Next Fest can tether themselves to near-Earth shooter Boundary. Skystone Games and developer Studio Surgical Scalpels are giving players an opportunity to get shooting in space between 6 – 13 February on PC.
For those that haven’t had an opportunity to don an EMU suit and pick a position, imagine what would happen if you mixed the military and near Earth maneuvers. Boundary is the culmination o these questions, asking players to pick a role, grab a gun, and team up with their friends to take out opposition and secure vital territory in near Earth orbit. That means combat includes a new degree of freedom. No more climbing stairs to find a good sniping spot. Instead, you’ll move across all angles and defend against attacks from any direction.
Skystone has confirmed that the upcoming Next Fest demo will include the following:
- Weapon customization system that allows players to upgrade and modify weapons to best suit their playstyle with stocks, grips, scopes, barrels, and ammo ypes
- A varied selection of multiplayer maps that are heavily inspired by real-life industrial technology and space exploration
- Unpredictable and challenging tactical gameplay dictated by weapon customization, multiple combat classes, complex map navigation, and much more
- A sneak-peek at Boundary’s progression system to unlock weapons, skins, other cosmetics, and more for each of the available Astrooperators.
With plenty of room to innovate, Bondary might be worth a look. Even if it isn’t, it looks fantastic. You can check out more about Boundary and wishlist this sci-fi shooter over on the official Steam Store now.
