Choo Choo Charles On Switch Begins The Commuter Nightmare in 2024

Choo-Choo Charles PC Review

Choo Choo Charles is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch on 18 January 2024

Returning to the office after a festive break can be pretty rough for many of us. However, if you want to really ratchet up the tension, then indie horror Choo Choo Charles is ready to terrif6yy commuters when it comes to the Nintendo Switch. The news that this train-based terror is about to go mobile dropped over the weekend. Publisher Two Star Games released a trailer for the upcoming launch, and I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about it.

For those that missed the unique experience on PC, Charles takes survival horror in an entirely new direction. Putting players on an old train, it challenges gamers to collet old scraps and odd bits of machinery to upgrade the aging vehicle. That all sounds mundane enough, until an abomination comes crawling after you. Like Thomas the Tank engine from hell, Choo Choo Charles is an unsettling mix of spider turned train that will chase anybody it’s unfortunate enough to find. Check out our review to find out why.

Aside from warping an endearing childhood memory of mine, this nightmare fuel is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, and PS5 on 21 December too. So, players who want to prepare for late train and drizzly days with a equally scary set of tracks, can head over to the official Steam Store page to find out more before Choo Choo Charles On Switch makes Monday morning a whole different kind of awful.
