Digital extremes just unlocked access to the very latest tale in the sci-fi epic that is Warframe. Citrine’s Last Wish is available now across PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms, adding a new story, some unique Defence Missions, and the 52nd Warframe.
Exploding onto screens is the crystal bastion Citrine. This new Warframe is yet another playable space warrior and part of a tragic love story that players can follow in game. To take on this tale of doomed romance, players can try out a series of Mirror Defense missions. These classic defense missions with a twist require a few brave souls to take on an onslaught of powerful enemies to reunite two crystal-encased lovers lost to time and space.
Alongside Citrine, this also adds exclusive Weapons, Customizations, and Accessories to unlock. Players can grab these either using Platinum, or earn her mighty defences by collecting rewards from Mirror Defense missions to farm Citrine’s blueprints.
This isn’t all you can expect to loot from the new update either. The Crystal Bastion Collection offers up the chance to acquire an assortment of Weapons and Accessories,. This includes the Corufell Heavy Scythe and Steflos, Citrine’s Kalite Helmet, and Alumeti Sugatra, along with a variety of decorations. If you’re not interested in these two and want something a bit different, then the Rhino Deathwatch Deluxe skin for Rhino, a new Ember Voidshell Skin, and Augments arrive today. A new Drifter face tattoo, ink bundles, and tons of other fashion extras launch with Citrine’s Last Wish can be purchased from the in-game Warframe Market for Platinum.
