Techland has released a brand new episode of the Dying 2 Know series that offers fans a peek inside the development of Dying Light 2 Stay Human has been published. This time, World Director Thomas Gerbaud takes center stage to talk more about the game world and what players can expect from the post-apocalyptic setting and to better understand the people within the world.
The Peacekeepers play a central part in this, and Thomas Gerbaud shares new details about their strict adherence to law, order, and hierarchy. The inhabitants are a product of the world around them, demonstrated by the game’s rich environmental storytelling. For Thomas, the aim was for players to get a true sense of the world’s people, rules, and way of life from their own exploration of and interactions with it. Every location is filled with tiny details that make the world feel more textured and complex while helping players comprehend the many facets of The City.
DL2 will be released on February 22, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Preorders are already open.
