EA has announced that EA Sports PGA Tour will offer dads (and everyone else!) a free play weekend just in time for Father’s Day. The special event also coincides with the US Open Championship that will be running in real life at the same time. The free play weekend will run from Thursday, June 15th, through Sunday, June 18th. It is a perfect chance to try out the well-received golf game recently received Title Update 4.0, including the Los Angeles Country Club course and much more.
In an interesting twist, the game will receive live updates throughout the US Open Championship that reflect “iconic moments from each day.” This allows players to feel as if they are part of the action.
Title Update 4.0 brings some significant additions to the game as well as a number of feature improvements.
