Get In The Bin And Back Trash Goblin

Trash Goblin

The gorgeous shopkeeping sim, Trash Goblin, is about to close its Kickstarter.

You’ve got one more day to take in the garbage and make your fortune. An adorable and unique shopkeeping RPG from Spilt Milk Studios is about to close it’s Kickstarter campaign. You’ve got just over 24 hours to put your cash down and help smash the stretch goals in a game where you raid trash, make trinkets, and sell on your wares. It’s like fantasy Etsy without the tax implications.

Trash Goblin is the latest adventure from a team that has already brought crab PvP to life. The unique take on the likes of Sticky Business and Moonlighter focuses on the repair and recycle part of this tale. AS a goblin with great ambitions, you’ll not only upcycle a range of trinket, but upgrade your shop as you go. New tools, feature, and customization options unlock as things unfold. Each shiny new ware will entice a different customer, with 15+ NPC characters and 25 different quest lines to dabble in.

Kickstarter is never a sure thing, and you will be pledging money with the hope of a reward. However, players looking to get a taste of the trash life an already download a demo of Trash Goblin over on Steam. Additionally, the workshop is already funded, with the £70,000 goal smashed. So, now it’s case of seeing how silly the stretch goals get. We’re already expecting musical instruments, but what sort of silly prosthetics will we see?

If you just want a key on release, then reward tiers start at £20 or local equivalent. If you’re looking for something a bit more extravagant, you can get a copy and become an in-game character for around £1500. For the full run down of the reward tiers, head over to the Trash Goblin Kickstarter page now, then keep your fingers out the bins until the July 2025 release window.
