ArenaNet has called on Tyrians to charge back into adventure on 17 November when Guild Wars 2: The Icebrood Saga returns to yet another looming threat.
Ramping up the anticipation with a brand new trailer, Guild Wars 2 developer ArenaNet has confirmed that fans of their hugely popular MMORPG can return to Tyria and face their fate on 17 November. Titled ‘Truce’, the latest chapter in Guild Wars 2’s Living World tale is the first of four chapters that will wrap up The Icebrood Saga and eventually end with the new expansion, End of Dragons.
The State Of The World
After securing Drizzlewood Coast during the events of Episode 4, and watching Jormag wake into the world, it seems that something even more serious is coming for commanders as fire and flame rise. The minions yet another elder dragon will rise with this episode. Caught between catastrophes, players will get more than just a narrative update this month. To prevent widespread calamity across the land, new replayable Dragon Response Missions will find Tyrians fighting back these returning forces and Dragon’s Watch will be able to recruit factions from across Tyria. While much of the new content was covered in our recent news on the Icebrood Saga roadmap, the new trailer provides a better glimpse at that to expect in ‘Truce’.
As usual, each of the remaining updates in The Icebrood Saga will be free of charge for players who on the Path Of Fire expansion.
