Players eager to try out the latest from the otaku stuffed studio behind Genshin Impact can now pre-register for the team’s latest adventure. Honkai: Star Rail has opened sign ups ahead of its final launch date, meaning anybody preparing to fight the Honkai in a brand-new battlefield can load up and being as soon as it leaves the platform.
Grabbing a seat now will ab some extra rewards. Players putting their names down to play on PC, iOS, or Android will potentially end up with a bag full of credits, Star Rail passes, a new avatar, and a 4-star character pull. This all depends on the number of sign-ups before launch, however.
If you’ve just had a glance at the banner above, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the newest anime inspired title from this outfit looks a lot like Tower of Fantasy or the upcoming Blue Protocol, but it’s definitely not another genre clone. While it may still be a free to play format with plenty of loveable characters to grace both mobile and desktop screens, there’s plenty to differentiate it.
Notably, a sci-fi setting plays host to a massive open world with turn-based combat scenarios. With tons of characters to group up with, a tactical edge, and a bustling overworld, Honkai: Star Rail is an entirely different proposition.
