Last Torchlight Infinite Beta Date Announced

Torchlight Infinite

XD Inc. has announced the dates for the final Torchlight Infinite closed beta event. Closed beta testers will try out all-new content from September 5-7, 2022. The client can be downloaded from the TI official site, Google Play, or TapTap for Android mobile devices. Even while calling the event “closed beta”, press information reveals that anyone can take part simply by downloading and installing the client.

Beta testers will try out some new content, including Oracle Thea, a new hero. In addition, there are new story levels, new bosses, Netherrealm 2.0, and Erosion crafting. The team also worked through tweaks to nearly every feature of the game. A prodigious number of bugs have also been squashed in preparation for testing.

The three new story levels offer new geographical features in order to provide more challenge to even the hardiest of players. New monster populations also dot the landscape ahead of the final gigantic bosses.

“A new story, new gameplay, and completely new challenges,” the team wrote. “Be prepared.”

Some of the many features the game offers its players include:

  • six classes
  • 24 talent trees with 240 skills
  • the ability to choose three skill paddles from different heroes in order to build a unique way to play
  • skills can be modified up to five times with support skills
  • no skill cooldowns
  • a smooth, swift combat experience

The game is currently targeting an October 2022 release. We’ll keep you posted as the date for launch approaches.
