First teased during the recent Sentinels of Light event in Riot’s MOBA League of Legends where she helped Viego, gloomy Yordle mage Vex is making her debut in the game later this month when she unenthusiastically joins the roster of Champions. Color? Happiness? Caring about stuff? That’s so overrated.
Meet Vex on September 8 on PBE, before she makes her full appearance in the game on September 23. Or don’t, because Vex doesn’t care.
Stay tuned to find out more about her kit and story once Riot releases more details!
Additionally, the developers have released a new video to tease new skins coming to the Night & Dawn line, featuring such magnificence as Dawnbringer Morgana as well as new skins for Yone, Kayn, Lillia, Tryndamere, and the newcomer Vex herself.
Last but not least, before the release of the new album, Riot will be streaming a virtual concert of the League of Legends’ in-universe heavy metal band Pentakill. After a few years-long hiatus, the band’s next album is dropping next week – and there are new Pentakill skins for the line-up of champions to celebrate the release! Even Viego gets some love.
Answer the call of the heavy metal gods on Wednesday, September 8th, at 1 PM PT for an interactive album experience on Wave.
“The highly anticipated return of Pentakill is finally here in an epic virtual experience for the ages. Interact with fans from around the world, choose what happens next and watch Pentakill perform tracks from their new album ahead of release.
Join Karthus, Mordekaiser, Sona, Yorick, Olaf and Kayle as they reunite for the next installment of their legendary saga and make history!”
