Metal Gear Survive PC Requirements

With the release date of Metal Gear Survive rapidly approaching, Konami has decided to share the PC requirements with the community.

At the minimum, the game would require:

  • OS: Windows 7×64, Windows 8×64, Windows 10×64 (64-bit OS Required)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or better; Quad-core or better
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB) or better (DirectX 11 card Required)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 20 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

However, the developer recommends you use the following for the better in-game experience:

  • OS: Windows 7×64, Windows 8×64, Windows 10×64 (64-bit OS Required)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 (3.60GHz) or better; Quad-core or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (DirectX 11 graphic card required)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 20 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card (Surround Sound 5.1)

According to PCGamesN, the console versions of the game will release on February 20th in North America and February 22nd in Europe. The PC edition will be out on February 21st.

Metal Gear Survive is an open-world action-adventure game developed and published by Konami Digital Entertainment for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.  The project features cooperative multiplayer mode in which up to four players can join up to explore the game’s world and complete missions. It can also be played solo with the player accompanied by AI teammates.

The events of the game take place in the time period between Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
