Warner Bros Games and DC have released yet another trailer for Gotham Knights ahead of its launch on Friday, October 21st. This time, the trailer asks the question, “What is Gotham Knights?” Viewers will be treated to plenty of gameplay action as well as get a peek into several of the game’s locations. Fans will also hear about the many features of the keenly-anticipated title.
The game centers on the Batman family after his death. Players will have an opportunity to experience “neon-noir Gotham City” as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, or Robin. During gameplay, gamers will need to carry on the legacy of the Dark Knight. Players will take on crime gangs that infest the five boroughs of the city using parkour, the Bat Cycle, and each character’s distinct travel method.
Each family member has their own playstyle and expertise. Players can take on the action solo or can “drop in/drop out” of multiplayer games.
- Red Hood has trained to reach the peak of human strength, and he’s proficient in multiple combat techniques with all manner of weapons—both traditional and high-tech.
- Robin is an expert fighter armed with his collapsible quarterstaff and skilled in the art of stealth. He also possesses a background in combined psychological warfare and behavioral sciences.
- Batgirl is highly trained in a variety of fighting styles, such as kickboxing, capoeira, and jiu-jitsu. Her signature weapon is the tonfa. Barbara also displays excellent skill in hacking or coding in computers and technological systems to dig for information.
- Nightwing boasts mastery in acrobatics and is an expert at taking down enemies with his signature dual escrima sticks.
