PlayStation Now, the streaming game service from Sony, is getting four new games from 2 November, including Final Fantasy IX.
Sony has announced that the online game streaming service, PlayStation Now, will get four new games this month, including the legendary Final Fantasy IX. The tale of adventure set in the ancient Mist Continent, one of the four main lands of Gaia, was originally released back in early 2000 and is still considered, in our books, one of the Final Fantasy greats. While it might not endear the same emotional response as Final Fantasy VII, the tale of Zidane, Vivi, and Garne and their quest to uncover the secrets of their past, the crystal, and their home is definitely worth exploring.
Three more games also enter the PlayStation now roster this month, allowing gamers to pick up and play two indies and another more iconic series while away from their PlayStation.
Mafia: Definitive Edition
A faithful recreation of the classic organized crime epic, mafia: Definitive Edition is the original Mafia story for a new generation of consoles, with an expanded story plus gameplay and graphical improvements. Of course, for those of us that remember that means falling into the ranks of the Mafia during the Prohibition era, experiencing a faithfully recreated 1930’s cityscape, filled with interwar architecture, cars, and culture. After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld. Initially uneasy about falling in with the Salieri crime family, Tommy soon finds that the rewards are too big to ignore.
Celeste
Help Madeline survive her inner demons on her journey to the top of the massive Celeste Mountain. It seems simple but this highly regarded indie platformer has had us hooked on and off since it launched. The 700+ screens of hardcore platforming challenges, tricky jumps, and devious secrets make for a game that is no easy ascent. However, it is also utterly rewarding. The gorgeous graphics, mesmerizing soundtrack, and a surprising level of depth to the gameplay makes Celeste a real treat if you are done in Gaia.

Buckle up your back brace and fire up the delivery truck, it’s time to deliver! Go it alone to ensure the safety of your deliveries, or join your friends and put your teamwork to the test and haphazardly get the job done in an interactive sandbox world. Unpredictable ragdoll physics meets snappy platforming. Sprint, leap, dive, and grapple with ease, but collide with something and you’ll be knocked out cold! Want to take a break from deliveries? Then play around. The world is chock full of toys, vehicles, and machines that can be used for work or play.
