tinyBuild and Hungry Couch Games have announced that Black Skylands has officially left early access and launched on all major consoles and PC. Players can take to the skies on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, EGS, and GoG for $19.99.
Players will take on the role of a young pilot named Eva, who is working to protect her home from bloodthirsty sky pirates. Her goal? Build one of the best airships Aspya has ever seen.
Developers released a brand new launch trailer to showcase how the game plays and some of the features fans can expect.
The game offers players a pixel universe that has received four major updates while in early access. It is packed with “endless surprises” and “hidden treasures,” according to developers. With its unique blend of genres, players will get to experience to-down shooter action combined with ship-to-ship combat, exploration, crafting, and much more.

- Fight in the skies and on land: Combine aerial and ground fighting tactics by using dozens of upgradeable weapons from your arsenal.
- Obtain technologies and abilities: From a time stopper to a stationary turret, get all technologies to upgrade your equipment and find unique amulets that will give you passive and active abilities.
- Improve your ship: A maneuverable sloop, a spacious barge, or something in between — choose the airship that fits your playstyle.
- Save the inhabitants of Aspya: Free the islands and help restore them after pirate attacks.
- Explore an expansive open world: Travel through forests, farms, snowy lands, deserts, and the Eternal Storm ruins, and discover things no one has ever seen.
