Developer Stunlock Studios released a new patch for MMOARPG V Rising, including general client optimizations to improve stability and performance. Players will be able to change Texture Quality and set FPS Limit in options now.
Additionally, the developers changed Low Quality Atmosphere to High Quality Atmosphere to keep the options menu consistent, fixed a number of bugs, added missing meshes on particular world objects and fixed an issue that caused performance drops when hitting Night Marshal Styx the Sunderer with specific abilities (ex. Mirror Strike).
The team has also taken to the official site with a new dev diary, thanking one million players that bought V Rising and took an opportunity to rise as a vampire. While the developers have the goal in mind for the game, their path is not all set. The primary focus right now is bug fixes, balance changes, server optimization and QoL improvements. The next step will be to analyze all the data and feedback from the first weeks of Early Access to make sure the team can nail the master plan moving forward.
“Our mission will be to find out what is most important to our players and how to take V Rising to the next level. We currently plan to work on more extensive updates rather than run for frequent smaller patches and minor changes. It’s too early to tell when the first bigger V Rising content patch will arrive, as we will give it the time to make sure it brings something new to the experience. This will require more patience from you as a fan!”
